A glimpse into my art world
About the artist
My story
Hello, I’m Forawyn Fonk, a dreamer whose head is often somewhere in the clouds. Originally from the Netherlands, I now feel at home in La Rochelle, where I settled for love. I work intuitively and let myself be guided by color, travel memories, and the small, quiet moments of everyday life that often go unnoticed.
My paintings emerge spontaneously, with layers of acrylic, drawn lines, and playful textures. When I work, I often forget everything around me. Through my art, I hope to share a sense of lightness, wonder, and recognition.

Art Mail Club
Because life’s too short for boring mail!
The design changes every month.
A little art gift on your doorstep every month. An envelope to look forward to, full of colour, art and lovely stories.
As an artist, I want to send my art out into the world. And what better way to do that than with a mini-print, a letter and other lovely goodies? I design everything myself. The mini-prints are small versions of my paintings or original art prints that I create especially in a smaller format.
Inside your letter, you’ll find:
